We thought of an ode to the play of clouds in the autumn sky, and shiulis in the midst. We visualised children running through fields of kashphool, while the sun and sky smiled at their joy – the laughter, the love, the anticipation of Durga’s arrival, and their excitement to drape their first pujor jama! We found Rumi’s Durga in them too.

Crafted in fine, handwoven, light indigo cotton, with an intricate jamdani neckline, placed above gentle gathers. The dress comes with detailed threadwork in the yoke, and versatile layered sleeves, adding to subtle uniqueness. Just like the frocks from childhood, she reminds us of priceless memories of days gone by. Comes with attached lining and pockets.
